Ingredients:

1 Medium Head of Cabbage, coarsely shredded (8 cups)

Water and ¼ teaspoon Salt in Saucepan
•
1 pound lean hamburger
•
1 cup soft bread crumbs ( 2 slices)
•
½ cup milk
•
1 small onion chopped
•
1 egg
•
1 ½ teas. Salt
•
¼ teas. Pepper
•
¼ teas marjoram

Finnish Beef Cabbage Loaf

Directions:
1.
Heat cabbage in water and salt till boiling, reduce heat and simmer until
cabbage is wilted about 5 minutes; drain.
2.
Mix remaining ingredients.
3.
Place half cabbage in ungreased 2 quart casserole. Spread beef mixture over
cabbage; top with remaining cabbage.
4.
Cover and cook in 350 oven 55 to 60 minutes. Check occasionally and pour
out excess water if necessary.
5.
Serve with cranberry sauce and whipped potatoes.
